Its official now. Oliver Lafayette (188-G-84, college: Houston) became a new member of Asseco Prokom.
The American point guard signed a deal for the next season. He started the last one with Partizan Belgrade averaging 8.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in six Euroleague games. Lafayette also added 10.2 ppg, 4 rpg and 4.2 apg for them in six Adriatic league appearances. They parted ways in November and Lafayette immediately joined NBA D-League team Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He shined there with 16.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 3.6 apg for 21 games. In March, Oliver Lafayette finally joined Israeli Maccabi Ashdod, where he finished last season. In the past, he played in Mexico. Oliver Lafayette graduated at the University of Houston four years ago. In his career he played one NBA game with the Boston Celtics.
